Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse settings. In this energetic position, you will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans, assist patients in their rehabilitation journeys, and promote optimal mobility and function. Your expertise will help improve quality of life for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in inpatient, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facility environments. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide hands-on therapy interventions including trigger point therapy, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain. Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team effectively. Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition back to home or other care settings through education and follow-up recommendations. Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards, anatomy knowledge, and physiology principles during therapy sessions. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols. Work in a physician and physical therapist-directed clinic with integrated rehabilitation care Reasonable patient volume, focus on quality, not burnout Experience Prior experience working in outpatient physiotherapy settings is highly preferred but entry level welcome Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques. Hands-on experience with physiotherapy modalities such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies. Pay:
$33.78 - $40.68 per hour
