RVNAhealth is seeking compassionate, skilled Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our award-winning Home Health Rehabilitation team. Working one-on-one with patients in their homes, you'll help individuals recover from illness, injury, surgery, and hospitalization while improving their mobility, confidence, and quality of life. We have opportunities available throughout each of our three territories, including:
South Territory:
Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport Central Territory:
Ridgefield, Redding, Danbury, Wilton North Territory:
Danbury, New Milford, Brookfield, Bethel, Newtown Our defined service territories are designed to help minimize travel while allowing you to become a trusted healthcare provider within the communities you serve. Position Overview As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver skilled therapy services that help patients safely recover and remain independent in their homes. You'll play an essential role in implementing individualized treatment plans while building meaningful relationships with patients and their caregivers. What You'll Do Provide skilled physical therapy treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist's plan of care Deliver therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional independence Assist patients with gait training, transfers, fall prevention, and activities of daily living Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and mobility strategies Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborate with nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with Medicare and agency standards Help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while remaining safely in their home environment What We're Looking For Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant license Home health experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within an assigned territory Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care Why PTAs Choose RVNAhealth At RVNAhealth, you'll enjoy the opportunity to practice in a setting where you can truly focus on your patients-not just productivity.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00 per hour and represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
