Monitor and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) management protocols. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient care strategies. Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, progress expectations, and discharge planning steps. Maintain compliance with clinical assessment documentation requirements and uphold high standards of medical documentation accuracy. Requirements Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program. Proven experience in outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient settings, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology. Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physiotherapy modalities. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices. Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
