Outpatient Orthopedics Location:
Bayonet Point, FL Schedule:
PRN / As Needed, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation:
$35 per hour Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Our center features a collaborative group of clinicians, including two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant. We treat a wide range of outpatient orthopedic conditions across all ages, diagnoses, and insurance types. Patients include those with general orthopedic needs as well as individuals requiring neuro, vestibular rehabilitation and fall‑prevention programs. PTAs with a minimum of 1 yr outpatient orthopedic experience, APPLY! Join us and take the next step in your career. Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process) Minimum 1 yrs outpatient orthopedics experience.
