Job Description

Royal Oak Nursing Center has provided extraordinary services to residents for over 35 years! We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to our residents. The PTA provides rehab and therapy services under the supervision of Physical Therapists and the Director of Rehab.
Qualifications:
Ability to present a positive attitude, and carry out respectful relationships and communication with residents, peer staff, families, guests, and vendors. Have a clear and active Physical Therapist Assistant license with the State of Florida. Have a valid CPR certification. Have a clear level II background screen. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Ability to lift 60-70lbs frequently. Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit, push/pull) intermittently throughout the workday. Ability to speak and write in English. Knowledgeable of therapy practices and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations specific to therapy. Other qualifications as outlined in the Job Description.
Responsibilities:
Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapists and plans of care. Record clinical documentation and daily treatment changes. Communicate with team members and providers regarding resident progress, problems and plans. Routinely verify department equipment is in clean and working order. Pay:
$28.00 - $38.00 per hour
