09/08/2026 Job Description Job Description Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Orthopedics Physical Therapy Specialists - Davenport, FL Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Davenport, Florida. We are a privately owned physical therapy practice focused on delivering high-quality, personalized patient care in a supportive and team-oriented environment. Our clinic treats a wide variety of orthopedic, post-surgical, sports medicine, balance, and general musculoskeletal conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who values one-on-one patient interaction, teamwork, mentorship, and a positive clinic culture. Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities Provide manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities as appropriate Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT Accurately document daily treatment notes in EMR Maintain a professional, positive, and compassionate attitude with patients and staff Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinic environment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Florida PTA license (or license eligible) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic Schedule & Compensation Full-time preferred Approximately 40 hours per week Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Opportunities for mentorship and professional growth Why Join Us?
