Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, helping patients recover from injuries and improve their overall mobility and quality of life.

Commensurate with experience

Requirements :

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Experience in clinic, home health, inpatient, or orthopedic settings is preferred Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient treatment plans Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Compassion, empathy, and dedication to improving patient outcomes

Responsibilities :

Work closely with physical therapists to implement care plans for patients Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques Provide support in various settings such as clinics, hospitals, and home health environments Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
