Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Citrus Health & Rehabilitation, Inverness, FL Citrus Health & Rehabilitation is a leading skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in the heart of Inverness, Florida. Our in-house subacute rehab unit is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care that promotes recovery, independence, and overall wellness. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic in-house subacute rehabilitation team. As a PTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in regaining mobility, improving function, and achieving optimal outcomes during their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions as directed. Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the PT. Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive care planning. Educate patients and families on techniques to promote continued mobility and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida. CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Prior experience in a skilled nursing or subacute rehab setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
