Origin Home Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team as we make our way into Manatee County. You will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and various physical conditions. We are looking for a compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and improving the overall well-being of our patients.
PT Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional abilities. Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and coordination. Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
PT Qualifications:
Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Experience:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physical therapy. Familiarity with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders.
PTA Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting assessments and gathering relevant patient information. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist. Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions. Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Provide support and education to patients and their families.
PTA Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Experience:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and exercise programs.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
