Key Responsibilities:
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Assist in planning, developing, and implementing physical therapy programs and activities for residents Interpret physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, and family members as necessary Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of resident care plans Initiate individual restorative programs for residents in conjunction with their plan of care Brief residents on procedures involved in physical therapy and prepare necessary equipment Reassure residents before and during therapy treatment Document changes and follow up on resident conditions
Qualifications:
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Graduate of School of Physical Therapy Assistant Minimum of three months recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant working in a nursing home environment preferred
State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant License CPR Certification Benefits:
