$12,000 Sign-On Bonus and $200 per month Student Loan Repayment Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support two outpatient orthopedic clinics located approximately 13 minutes apart in Winter Haven and Lake Wales. The centers treat a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic conditions as well as neuro, vestibular, sports medicine, amputee, and fall prevention cases. The PTA will collaborate with a clinical team of 4 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants in a supportive and team-focused environment. New graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply. Join a collaborative outpatient team and grow your career with Select Physical Therapy. Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process) CPR certification
