- Associate's Degree in PTA from an accredited program
- Florida licensure (or license-eligible)
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Experience with adult/geriatric populations is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy principles.
Job Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs, including those with orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, and neurological conditions. Deliver therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy techniques, and modalities under supervision. Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately, updating care plans as necessary. Support patients through exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility while ensuring proper technique and safety. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment exercises, discharge instructions, and home care strategies to promote continued recovery. Conduct patient assessments related to physiology and anatomy knowledge to inform treatment approaches. Maintain detailed records of treatment sessions, patient responses, and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care delivery. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and stay informed about best practices for various populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Hands-on experience with therapeutic modalities, including trigger point therapy and other manual techniques. (Onsite training for specialized techniques) Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
