Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant/Back Office team member to support our chiropractic practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient service, anatomy, and physiology, with a passion for providing exceptional care and ensuring smooth operational workflows. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient intake, assisting with assessments, patient flow, putting patients on therapy such as electrical stem, decompression, ultrasound and more and supporting the chiropractor in delivering high-quality treatment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills contribute directly to patient well-being and practice success. Open to increasing hours to full-time as opportunities arise. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays 8:30 am to 7 pm with a 2 hour lunch. Tuesday 2:30 pm-7 pm and Saturdays 9 am-12:30 pm Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a positive first impression. Conduct patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating relevant documentation accurately. Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments by preparing treatment rooms and handing necessary instruments or supplies. Support patient assessment processes through understanding basic physiology and anatomy to facilitate effective communication of symptoms and concerns. Maintain detailed and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and documentation protocols. Educate patients on treatment plans, post-treatment care, and answer general questions related to chiropractic procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards within the back office area, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained. Qualifications Prior experience in healthcare or chiropractic settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support patient assessments effectively. Excellent patient service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude. Ability to accurately perform intake procedures and manage detailed documentation with precision. Good organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Basic computer proficiency for scheduling, record keeping, and data entry purposes.
