USA Home Health is hiring a PRN or Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services in patients' homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Pay range:

$50-60 per point

Overview:

The Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled therapy services in patients' homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA follows the plan of care to help patients improve mobility, function, and independence while meeting clinical and regulatory standards. Job Responsibilities Implement the physical therapy plan of care under the direction of the Physical Therapist. Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and safe techniques. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist. Document visits accurately and timely according to agency and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families on safe equipment use and techniques to promote independence. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Follow safety, infection control, and universal precaution protocols. Attend required meetings, in-services, and training. Comply with the organization's Code of Conduct and applicable laws and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current PTA license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in home health.
