Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans that enhance the physical well-being of patients. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve mobility in various settings including outpatient clinics and geriatrics. Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans developed by physical therapists. Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and trigger point therapy. Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and discharge planning. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment within the clinic. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on best practices in orthopedics, anatomy, physiology, and geriatric care. Skills Strong knowledge of care plans and the ability to assist in their execution. Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and treatments. Proficient in physical therapy techniques and modalities. Understanding of discharge planning processes for effective patient transitions. Solid foundation in anatomy and physiology relevant to rehabilitation practices. Experience working in outpatient settings is preferred. Ability to work effectively with geriatric populations.
