We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Tampa Office. As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), this role is dedicated to directly delivering and monitoring patient rehabilitation under the guidance of a physical therapist. Key responsibilities include instructing patients through targeted exercise programs, administering specialized therapeutic modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, and prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout every session. Beyond hands-on care, the position requires maintaining meticulous, compliant clinical documentation, educating patients and their families on home care and recovery strategies, and managing equipment upkeep. Ultimately, this role serves as a vital bridge in the healthcare team, collaborating closely with physical therapists and other professionals to evaluate progress and drive optimal recovery outcomes.Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures. Excellent communication skills to work with patients and healthcare teams. Strong understanding of human anatomy and physical therapy principles. Ability to assess patient conditions and modify treatments based on feedback from the physical therapist. Patience and empathy when dealing with patients.Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in personal injury Knowledge/experience treating patients withTBIs Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.Licensing/Certification:
