Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Rose Wellness Clinic is a multispecialty office offering Medical, Physical Therapy, and Chiropractic Care. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and contribute to their overall well-being. We are looking for part-time, full time or PRN. Rose Wellness Clinic is an eligible partner with The Villages Charter School. We offer a flexible schedule to work around your busy life.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong patient care skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols
- Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- CPR certification (BLS)
