Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time, Per Diem UP TO A $5K
SIGN ON BONUS
Cypress Care Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a full-time, in-house position within our subacute rehabilitation unit. In this impactful role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in
Treatment:
Support Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents' mobility and functional abilities.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises and modalities, to help residents regain strength and coordination.
Patient Monitoring:
Observe and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist for necessary adjustments.
Patient Education:
Educate residents and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
Collaboration:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Licensure:
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
Experience:
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
