Setting:
hospital environment. This travel assignment is for a Physical Therapy Assistant working in an inpatient or outpatient care context, with responsibilities aligned to standard PTA practice and collaborative rehab care.

Setting:
hospital-based rehab environment Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering prescribed therapies, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM work, and functional mobility tasks. Monitor patient progress, document sessions, and communicate changes in status to the supervising PT and care team. Prepare treatment spaces and equipment, maintain safety and infection control, and ensure proper sanitation of devices and tools. Collaborate with rehabilitation staff, nursing, and other clinicians to coordinate care and support discharge planning. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to maintain gains after discharge. Maintain accurate charting and comply with privacy, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for
Healthcare Workers Licenses:
Valid Driver's License Experience:
Three (3) years of work experience as an Activities Coordinator involving planning and coordinating comprehensive programs (as described in the Job Notes) to meet social, recreational, physical, educational, and other patient needs
Language/communication:
