Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The PTA will work under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions designed to maximize residents' mobility, function, and independence. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist residents with exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities. Monitor and document residents' progress toward treatment goals. Communicate effectively with the therapy team, nursing staff, and families regarding patient status and care needs. Ensure documentation meets facility, state, and payer requirements. Participate in team meetings, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Support the overall rehabilitation goals of the SNF with professionalism and compassion. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Current State PTA License (or eligibility for licensure). Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
