Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient therapy team. The PTA will work under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based care focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and helping patients return to their daily activities, work, and recreational goals. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques (as directed), and functional movement activities. Provide patient education on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies. Monitor, document, and report patient progress toward established goals. Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic, state, and payer requirements. Assist with clinic flow, patient scheduling coordination, and maintaining a clean, safe treatment environment. Support a positive patient experience and contribute to a collaborative outpatient team culture. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Current State PTA License (or eligibility for licensure). Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate and engage patients across a wide range of orthopedic and functional conditions. Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a focus on outcomes and quality care.
