  • Full-time Full-time Opportunity Assists the PT in the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.
Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Physical Therapist and assistant will work to help determine a treatment plan, perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being, and evaluate the patient's progress. Job Duties Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting the patient's status and reporting it to a physical therapist. Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care. Treat patients using a variety of techniques, such as massage and stretching. Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to help patients. Educate patients and family members about what to do after treatment. Clean treatment areas and set up therapy equipment. Wash linens. Help patients move to or from a therapy area. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Associates Degree from a Certified Physical Therapy Assistants program
  • Current Idaho State License.
  • Effective communication skills for accurate, concise, and organized verbal and written interactions with patients and co-workers
  • Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic health records for Medicare and other payors in accordance with guidelines established by Medicare, Medicaid, other payors and the APTA
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with physicians, therapists, and patients.
Pay:
$28.00
