Physical Therapy Exercise Technician / Rehab Tech

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and active Exercise Technician to support our Physical Therapists and Chiropractors in delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will be the "right hand" to our clinical team, ensuring patients are performing their prescribed exercises safely while keeping the clinic flow efficient and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Exercise Guidance:

Lead patients through stretching and strengthening programs as prescribed by the licensed therapist.

Clinical Support:

Assist with the application of modalities like heat packs, cold packs, or e-stim (under direct supervision).

Patient Flow:

Escort patients between treatment rooms and the gym area to ensure minimal downtime.

Clinic Maintenance:

Sanitize treatment tables and equipment after each use to maintain a pristine environment.

Documentation:

Record patient exercise completion and any basic observations for the therapist to review.

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma required; degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or pre-PT/pre-DC track is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of basic anatomy and exercise form.

Physicality:

Ability to stand for long periods and assist in lifting/transferring patients if needed.

Pay:

$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
