Certified Medical Assistant/Chiropractic Assistant

We have served Elkhart and the surrounding communities for over 30 years and are seeking a full time, experienced certified medical assistant to join our patient care team. The CMA/Chiropractic assistant at Schneider clinic, PC is a floating position responsible for patient care and providing therapies for both our chiropractic and integrative medicine patients.

Priority Tasks:

Chart patient history and update information Put patients on chiropractic therapies including interferential therapy, mechanical traction, decompression, shockwave and cold laser. Assist RN's with IV infusions, Injections, Insufflation therapies and blood draws Provide excellent patient care and customer service to every patient, every time Efficiently manage time with each patient Effectively use critical thinking skills to provide each patient with high-quality natural healthcare Provide clear patient and family education Assist with stocking and cleaning clinic daily Adhere to call HIPPA and OSHA regulated standards Position requirements Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong IV start skills preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred Qualifications Active Certified Medical Assistant License Limitations and acknowledgement: The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as a comprehensive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
