Munster Med-Inn, a proud member of the Casa Healthcare family , is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. Position Summary Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist , the Physical Therapist Assistant provides therapeutic treatments to residents through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. The PTA documents patient progress and communicates treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Key Responsibilities Provide therapy services to residents with musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, balance impairments, and gait or transfer deficits Deliver treatment only after receiving a written physician order and treatment plan from the Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) Accurately document all treatments, progress notes, and required therapy records Participate in facility meetings, training sessions, and required in-services Assist the facility in maintaining state, federal, and regulatory compliance standards Follow all infection control policies and OBRA Resident Rights guidelines Manage and coordinate resident treatment schedules and caseloads Communicate with the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) when productivity levels indicate the need for additional support or resident screenings Maintain professional conduct, communication, and appearance while in the facility Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation or facility leadership Supervision The Physical Therapist Assistant reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) , who oversees clinical performance, documentation standards, and professional compliance. The PTA works under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) , carrying out treatment plans as prescribed. All therapy documentation will be reviewed and signed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Why Join Casa Healthcare?
