A Physical Therapy Assistant assists physical therapists to help patients with disabling injuries or conditions improve their range of motion and manage their pain. Helps patients learn exercises and teaches them to use therapeutic equipment. Works in the office of a physical therapist or in a healthcare facility.

Job Description
The candidate does not have to have prior PT aide or PT Tech experience, should have speaking, writing, reading proficiency in English. The candidate should be a people person able to work with patients and assist Physical therapist and Physical Therapy assistant with setting up, working with patients cleaning treatment areas and gym prior to and after patients. The candidate should be physically fit and flexible to assist with patients. The candidate should have excellent typing and computer skills, be able to navigate the web to use EMR( electronic Medical records). Flexible afternoon hours from 1:00 pm-6:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday most days, will have chances to add more hours if needed. The candidate should have the aptitude to learn new processes including scheduling patients in EMR, following up with patient appointments, communicate well with patients with patience and empathy but be professional at all times. we welcome students that want to pursue PT programs in future.
