Description:
This position requires an active State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Applicants without a current PTA license or who do not meet the qualifications to earn licensure will not be considered. Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time HTS is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work at a skilled nursing and senior living community in Rushville, IN (less than 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis). The PTA will treat a diverse caseload from short term rehab, long term care and assisted living populations. HTS offers a competitive hourly rate for this full-time position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. This PTA will also be Lead Therapist for the facility. Treat patients for a majority of the work hours while also performing Lead Therapist duties such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director. Requirements:
Applicants must have an active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state's requirements for licensure.
