Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Kansas City Orthopaedic Alliance Physical Therapy | Olathe, KS Kansas City Orthopaedic Alliance Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient therapy team in the Kansas City metro area. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work alongside experienced Physical Therapists and orthopedic specialists in a collaborative, physician-integrated environment. The PTA plays an essential role in delivering high-quality care while fostering a positive patient experience. Essential Responsibilities Implement treatment programs established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual techniques, and modalities as directed. Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising therapist. Educate patients on exercises, treatment plans, and injury prevention strategies. Accurately document treatment sessions and patient responses in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, and clinic staff to provide coordinated patient care. Maintain a safe and positive treatment environment. Demonstrate excellent customer service and patient engagement. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, company policies, and professional practice standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Associates degree in physical therapy as evidenced by a college diploma. Current, active, and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Kansas (or ability to obtain prior to start date). New graduates and experienced PTAs are encouraged to apply. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Working knowledge of electronic medical records and computer applications. Ability to pass a background check and any required pre-employment screenings.
