Job Description
Physical Therapy Tech Max Performance Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab is looking for a Physical Therapy Tech to work in an Outpatient Physical Therapy setting.
Qualifications:
- Positive and Energetic
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task
- Ability to exhibit a high level of customer service through friendly and professional behavior
- Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
- Ability to follow directions from Medical professionals in a precise manner
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and escorting them to treatment areas
- Observe patients during treatments and report to the Physical Therapist/PTA
- Assist Patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Keep treatment areas (tables, equipment, gym) neat and clean
- Keep machines clean
- Clean hydrocollator and whirlpool on a weekly basis as well as cold pack machine and other equipment as necessary
- Prepare treatment area for patient care
- Prepare modality treatments as supervised by the Physical Therapist including electrical stimulation, laser therapy, hot/cold packs and other modalities.
- Other duties as necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.
