The Physical Therapy Assistant shall be responsible for providing, under the direction of a Physical Therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The Physical Therapy Assistant shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.Job Duties:
Provides age appropriate therapeutic interventions. Formalized and goal directed educational/training activities are provided based on individual needs and evidence-based practice.Patient/resident/client response to treatment is consistently documented as evidenced by patient/residents/clients achievement of goals and/or goal revisions in collaboration with supervising therapist.
