Role:
Join our dynamic team at Rebound Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the recovery journey of our patients. We are committed to providing exceptional care in a collaborative environment, making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients under supervision. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes. Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program. Current Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Experience in a clinical setting preferred, with a focus on rehabilitation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care. Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.
