In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, promoting recovery, and improving patients' mobility and quality of life. Responsibilities Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to develop and execute personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Assist in administering therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and improve function. Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the healthcare team. Support patients during exercises, mobility activities, and functional training both in inpatient hospital settings and outpatient clinics. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, discharge planning, and home health strategies to ensure continued recovery. Maintain accurate medical terminology records, update patient charts, and adhere to all safety protocols related to anatomy knowledge and physiology. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on discharge planning, care coordination, and optimizing patient outcomes. Experience Prior experience working in inpatient or outpatient physiotherapy environments is highly preferred. Skilled nursing facility experience or home health care background is advantageous for understanding diverse patient needs. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and orthopedics enhances your effectiveness in this role. Experience with pediatrics or geriatrics is desirable for delivering age-specific therapies. Familiarity with acute care settings and clinic experience supports seamless integration into our multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to implement care plans involving trigger point therapy, outpatient treatments, or orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.
