Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide patient treatment according to established plan of care Implement various treatment modalities including but not limited to: therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, manual therapies, ice/heat. Instruct patients in proper and safe physical therapy interventions and procedures. Provide patient education on basic physical therapy principles Document patient services as rendered Communicate effectively with rehab professionals and other disciplines Direct rehab aides as needed
Skills:
Communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Pleasant bedside manner. Motivated. Time management. Team oriented. Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
Requirements:
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. CPR certification (preferred). Minimum of one year of out patient rehab experience (preferred). New grad applicants welcome. Salary based on experience. Part Time/Full Time.
