We're seeking a part-time or full-time PTA to serve patients in New Bedford and surrounding areas.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides therapy services as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist. This role helps patients regain mobility and function while delivering compassionate, one-on-one care in a home health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow and implement the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist Prepare accurate daily progress notes for treatments provided (to be reviewed and signed by the PT) Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations Submit all visit records and documentation in a timely manner Attend in-service and on-the-job training sessions as required Follow Aspire Home Healthcare's established policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the New Bedford Minimum of 1 year of PT/PTA experience preferred Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) strongly preferred Current Physical Exam (within last 12 months) Current TB test (within last 12 months) and CPR certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to attend a 3-day orientation at our Taunton Apply Today!
