No Position Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Clinical/Field Experience Staff works as a member of an instructional team of full-time and part-time colleagues in the PTA Department, to deliver high quality instruction to students. This position is responsible and accountable for instructing students in a laboratory environment on the FCC Campus, evaluating the student in the clinical skills, and monitoring performance goals. The PTA Program is searching for faculty with expertise in a variety of therapy skills including: Pediatrics, Neurorehabilitation, Patient Care Skills, Pulmonary Rehab, Cardiac Rehab, Work Hardening, Women's Health, Vestibular, Chronic Pain, Orthopedics, and Amputees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are functions essential to perform this job: Apply established principles, policies, and procedures consistently in accordance with assigned PTA program, and Frederick Community College. Provide clinical instruction and supervision of students. Evaluate student performance in the clinical skills. Maintain clinical skills within the designated area of responsibility. Establish weekly communication with assigned course coordinator. Engage students in critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal workplace skills. Infuse diverse, multicultural perspectives into the instructional process.

Salary:
