Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full-Time | Acute Care Hospital Frederick, MD $26.00-$34.50/hour Monday-Friday Schedule One Weekend Day Per Month • Limited Holiday Rotation Build Your Acute Care Career with a Therapist-Led Team. Responsibilities include:
Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist Assist patients with mobility, transfers, gait training, balance, and therapeutic exercise Educate patients and families on treatment plans and safe mobility techniques Document care using EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals Contribute to a positive, team-oriented patient care environment Qualifications Required Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Maryland PTA license (or eligibility) American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills Preferred One year of acute care experience New graduates with strong acute care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply Experience with EMR documentation Benefits We invest in our clinicians' success with benefits that support your career, health, and well-being.
