Physical Therapy Assistant

  • Deliver physical therapy treatment to adult and geriatric patients across a broad range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, rotator cuff injuries, total joint replacement, and more
  • Implement and progress individualized treatment plans under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the NextGen electronic documentation system, supported by AI-assisted clinical documentation tools
  • Provide post-operative and non-surgical intervention for conditions such as ACL tears, meniscus tears, and rotator cuff repairs
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
    Required Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland or eligibility to obtain
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday daytime schedule in an outpatient clinic setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Experience treating orthopedic, post-operative, and geriatric patient populations
  • Familiarity with NextGen or similar electronic medical record systems
  • Experience with a wide variety of diagnoses including TMJ dysfunction, thoracic outlet syndrome, and SI joint dysfunction
