Job Description

Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners. You'll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
  • BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
  • Physical Therapy Assistant license in MD is required to start.
  • BLS is required to start.
  • HEP B is required to start.
  • TB is required to start.
  • Flu is required to start.
  • Tdap is required to start. Assignment Details
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks.
Schedule:

Monday-Friday.

  • Shift hours: AM 8.
  • Schedule structure: Flexible.
  • Documentation system: NextGen.
  • Patient population: Adults and geriatric patients.
  • Cases seen include Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Back Pain Post-Operative, Calf Strain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Disc Herniation, Fractures and Stress Fractures, Generalized Low Back Pain, Meniscus Tear, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Plantar Ftis, Postural Dysfunction, Rotator Cuff Non-Surgical Intervention, Rotator Cuff Repair Post-Operative Care, SI Joint Dysfunction, Stenosis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, TMJ Dysfunction, and Total Joint Replacement.
