Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Michigan Experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting Strong understanding of rehabilitative therapy techniques and patient mobility protocols Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate patient-centered approach
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist patients in achieving mobility and functional goals through therapeutic exercises and treatments Document patient progress accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient response Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs
