Job Description

Physical Therapy Technician Overview:
OSOCPT is looking for a high energy individual to join our exceptional Physical Therapy team. This person must display excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing high quality, exceptional patient care. The physical therapy technician will assist with patient activities that are assigned and predetermined by the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
Duties and responsibilities:
Welcomes patients to the clinic, making them feel comfortable and supported throughout their therapy Assists patients while following the plan of care established by the therapist. Starting them on warm-up equipment Assist the therapists with non-clinical tasks Educate patients about proper use of equipment Assist patients with light exercises and strengthening techniques Strong communication skills with the therapists, patients, physicians, and team members Cleaning treatment tables and equipment after patient use Prepare and maintain treatment areas clean and organized Assisting front desk staff with administrative duties and scheduling patients Support the team in providing high quality treatment Maintain a positive, professional attitude and comply with OSOCPT's culture
Qualifications:
Familiarity with exercise, willing to train the right personality Experience in a Healthcare setting Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Strong communication skills Computer knowledge Ability to work in a team atmosphere Must have a positive, professional attitude

High school graduate or equivalent (Required)
