Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing treatment to patients
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- State licensure or certification as a physical therapist assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Occupational health experience is preferred, but not required As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting physical therapists in providing quality care to patients.
