In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional front desk support while assisting with administrative tasks. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and manage appointment scheduling Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Manage medical records by filing, retrieving, and updating patient files while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information privacy. Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as data entry, appointment reminders, intake forms, and documentation review. Answer multi-line phone systems professionally with excellent phone etiquette; address patient inquiries promptly and courteously. Support clinic operations by managing office supplies, scheduling follow-up appointments, and coordinating care plans with healthcare providers. Skills Receptionist within a clinical setting is highly valued. Strong communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Ability to handle clerical tasks such as typing (including 10 key typing), filing and data entry. Be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time Strong customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
