This position is especially well-suited for students or individuals pursuing a career in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or other related healthcare fields who are looking to gain valuable clinical experience.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to;
  • Opening and closing the clinic each day
  • Escorting patients to treatment rooms and assisting therapists in maintaining an efficient schedule
  • Cleaning and sanitizing treatment rooms after each patient visit
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary clinic environment, including treatment areas, gym space, and common areas
  • Completing daily laundry, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning
  • Assisting with preparation, copying, and documentation of therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs
  • Utilizing downtime productively by updating exercise programs, stocking rooms, and completing cleaning tasks
  • Assisting therapists with therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, light therapy, and other supportive treatments Please note: this position does not involve providing direct individual treatment to patients. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain on your feet for 10+ hours per day
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including cleaning, lifting, and assisting with clinic operations

No weekend hours — the clinic is closed Saturdays and Sundays. About Spine & Sport Spine & Sport is a small, owner-operated physical therapy clinic specializing in Biomechanical Correction Technique (BCT), developed by Shirley A. Kleiman in 1990. BCT is a specialized treatment approach exclusive to our practice and not offered anywhere else in the world. This method combines principles of joint biomechanics and passive manual therapy with active therapeutic exercise to improve joint mobility, restore function, and enhance physical performance. Our goal is to empower patients to assess, correct, and maintain optimal joint movement for long-term health and wellness.
