Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the LPTA provides hands‑on treatment, supports individualized care plans, and helps patients progress toward meaningful functional goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist's plan of care Instruct, motivate, and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training Monitor patient performance and modify treatment techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness Document treatment sessions accurately and in compliance with clinic, state, and payer guidelines Communicate patient progress, concerns, and clinical observations to the supervising Physical Therapist Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, body mechanics, and self‑management strategies Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team to support smooth patient flow and exceptional patient experience
Qualifications Required:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Strong clinical reasoning and patient‑interaction skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team Excellent communication, professionalism, and time‑management abilities Competence with electronic documentation systemsPreferred:
Outpatient orthopedic experience Interest in manual therapy, sports rehab, or specialized treatment approaches CPR certification Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods Ability to lift, assist, and support patients safely Frequent bending, reaching, and physical activity consistent with patient care Benefits 401(k) with employer match Flexible scheduling Paid time off Supportive, team‑oriented clinical environment Opportunities for professional development and continuing educationPay:
