In this energetic role, you will assist licensed physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth clinical experience. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and assist with setting up therapy equipment for patient sessions Support physical therapists by helping patients with exercises and mobility activities under supervision Manage patient intake procedures, including gathering medical histories and updating charts accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces to ensure safety and efficiency Monitor patient comfort during therapy sessions and report any concerns or changes to the clinical team Assist with documentation of treatment activities, progress notes, and other administrative tasks Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical terminology standards, and safety guidelines during all activities Skills Strong patient service orientation with a compassionate approach to care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Prior hospital or outpatient clinic experience preferred, especially in orthopedics, geriatrics, or post-acute care environments Familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, sub-acute care, or hospital medicine settings is highly desirable Ability to follow detailed instructions for patient intake and therapy assistance procedures Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting patient care in fast-paced clinical environments Join us in delivering exceptional patient-centered care!
