Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring all supplies are clean, organized, and ready for therapy sessions Support patients during therapy exercises by demonstrating movements and providing encouragement to enhance engagement and compliance Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, reporting any discomfort or concerns to the supervising therapist promptly Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment activities, and session details in compliance with healthcare regulations Help manage patient flow by scheduling appointments and coordinating with other healthcare team members for seamless care delivery Uphold infection control protocols and ensure safety standards are consistently met throughout all patient interactions Requirements Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings, especially within inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation environments Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Demonstrated patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care for diverse populations including geriatrics and orthopedic patients Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, sub-acute care, and hospital medicine environments Ability to assist with intake procedures and support patients through various stages of recovery Experience working with patients in orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care settings is highly desirable Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in empowering patients on their path to recovery!
