We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! We are a close knit, supportive and fun group of doctors, staff and patients. We are looking for someone who is personable, reliable, and willing to learn and grow with the practice. This position will allow you to learn about the medical field while also being able to provide support to our doctors and staff. We have a great culture with a team atmosphere. Job Duties:
Greet patients and provide friendly care in the doctor's office or in patient's homes Answer phone calls, take patient's message and relay information to patient or family member Schedule patients for appointments, take vital signs and document vital information for doctor's office records Prepare examination rooms for procedures by cleaning, stocking, and preparing them; cleaning instruments, checking instruments for damage; stocking supplies; ordering supplies; performing debridement of gunshot wounds; assisting during medical examinations; assisting during procedures; cleaning and sterilizing instruments; maintaining records; performing minor laboratory work; assisting during medical examinations and patient care tasks as assigned by the attending physician or the practice manager. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
Flexible with ability to learn new skills quickly. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to learn. Able to work independently. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to multi-task. Familiar with EMR (erp) systems. Computer literate. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
