Physical Therapy Assistant - Brownstown

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans and provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinics. Your expertise in anatomy and therapeutic techniques will be essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist Physical Therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients. Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises and home care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with facility protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy as needed for effective treatment outcomes.
