Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

$20.00-$28.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, availability, and licensure Core Medical Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This is an in-person clinical position with opportunities available in Blue Springs, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas. The PTA will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists and alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation staff to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities. Monitor patient progress and response to treatment. Document treatment activities and patient performance. Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervising therapists. Maintain a safe and positive treatment environment. Assist with patient education and home exercise programs. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. QualificationsRequired Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current PTA license in Missouri and/or Kansas. Excellent communication and patient interaction skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Preferred Outpatient orthopedic experience. Rehabilitation experience. Workers' Compensation experience. Personal Injury experience.
