Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, Full-Time Location:
Kansas City, MO Pay Structure:
$36
  • 40 per unit, averages 25-35 units per week Must be Licensed in Missouri and Kansas We are dedicated to providing exceptional physical therapy services to our home health patients.   • Job Overview:
  • As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients. You will work closely with individuals in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities, providing essential support in their rehabilitation journey.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing customized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Educate patients on exercises and activities to improve mobility and function.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay updated on current trends and advancements in physical therapy practices.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in physical therapy.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care principles.
  • Familiarity with acute care and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Qualifications:
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri and Kansas.
  • Proficiency in using therapy equipment and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
